100g dairy-free margarine
400g icing sugar
2 tablespoons brandy
Beat the dairy-free margarine and icing sugar until combined.
Stir in the brandy. Taste and add more brandy if desired. The mixture may split if you add too much brandy. If so, try adding extra icing sugar.
The brandy can be substituted for rum in this recipe.
Most dairy-free margarines are quite soft. You will need to add four times as much icing sugar to the dairy-free margarines or it will split. I recommend using Naturli block margarine, you will only need twice as much icing sugar to the block margarine. It is a lot tastier and doesn’t contain palm oil.
